William: can you clarify whether one would get night credits for multiple rooms for the current SPG® Nice Choice promo? This would certainly affect my participation!

I'm not William, but a second room's nights worked for me. I just recently registered for triple points and they posted Saturday for all past stays including one that began in April but ended in May and the second room. If the second room wasn't counted towards the promo I would have been at 13 nights. Promo netted me an additional 45K to date so I'm happy, of course that's because all my nights have been spent in NYC which aren't cheap. Also am loving this second room counting towards elite status. Thanks SPG!

I, too, thought this was an anomaly as I've seen this benefit all year. I host meetings in different states, and I sometimes bring colleagues with me. This is a big benefit to me, and to *wood as well, since it gives me more incentive to choose a SPG property. I love it! ^

I agree, I think that Platinum will b e greatly devalued, since the Lifetime Plat status, award nights counting, pretty much every member of the public staying at a starwood hotel will have status, so this brings a new super plat tier which will be much tougher to achieve, I received Lifetime Platinum status and was initally delighted, but am already seeing the devaluation, but not complaining!

With hidden tiered Plat, this is a great marketing strategy for SPG. Plat-lites feel compelled to stay at SPG to get plat-lite and then when that happens, stay there for the (chance of) perks, and the higher plats still get better treatment and perks

This does devalue gold, but I suppose Gold is the new Guest Plus and Guest Plus has always been obscure.

So: Member, Gold (effectively Silver), Plat (Effectively Gold), Plat (Effectively Plat), Plat (Effectively, Centurion?).

Tried to get stay credit for a recent stay were I had booked two rooms for each room as I should have referring to this conversation. Both rooms where payed for in my bill and of course I stayed in one of them. Request was declined by SPG as stay credit will be awarded to one room only? What to do?

Sure would be nice to see the new benefit in writing (other than Lurker-speak...no offense Wm.!)...have some triple room reservations upcoming.

Sorry. Those need to go directly to Program Services, along with the folios for the stay. [email protected]

As many have stated, I have enjoyed this as an unofficial benefit in the past and have personally never had any problem getting stays/nights credited when in a multiple-reservation situation. It is nice, however, to see this canonized.

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (I couldn't find mention of it in this thread), but I'm curious whether SPG gold/platinum welcome amenities are now available on up to three rooms.

In other words, if I book and pay for three rooms at a Sheraton, can I get 1,500 welcome amenity points? (Or breakfast for six?)

No, amenities are still only for 1 room

Does anyone know how long it takes program services to reply to emails to that address?
