I think I read Cathay does, but not sure if SQ does. This would be full fare revenue First MEL-SIN.

And what lounge does SQ use out of MEL? Is there a dedicated First Class lounge, and if so would a Star Gold on a First Class ticket be allowed a guest/s, also Star Gold. This would be an early evening flight.

Limo service: Have not heard about that.
MEL lounge: Silver Kris Lounge (SKL), divided into a First Class section (left) and a Raffles Class section (right).
I do not no, if a traveller holding a F Class boarding pass on is welcome to invite a guest who is travelling with him on the same SQ flight into the SKL (for PPS club member the answer is definitely yes).
I do not know, if the SKL at MEL is a dedicated *A Gold lounge. If yes, the Raffles Class section has to be used.

Long time no see tvl4free.
This must be some kind of telepathy as I was just reading your post HERE on my other screen:

Quoted that run just now in the UA forum.
Anyway, back to the thread. Is the First Class section of the lounge Patron mentions any big deal? Sounds like the TG lounge in BKK ... pretty much all the same thing if you quietly move seats when no-one is looking!

Full Unrestricted, First Class baby. There is method in my madness on this one.
Darn shame about the limo. Why more airlines do not offer that beats me on top end fares.

FYI: First Class passengers are allowed 1 guest travelling on any Star Alliance flight. (ie. if I'm flying SQ F, my guest doesn't have to fly SQ, just any Star airline)
Re. Limo service: Haven't seen the service provided at many places at all, except for LHR (by various carriers) and Virgin destinations when flying Upper Class.
Hope you enjoy the flights!

If you're interested in bang for the buck, MH offers a helicopter service in LHR, for full fare F passengers.
Will helicopter you to anywhere in Greater London.
It's probably out of your way, but MH service now [with the old F seats] is what SQ used to be 10 years ago.

Sounds just like Thai Airways "Business" and "First" on their 747s. Like a 1980s museum set .. the entire fleet. No PTV, no headrest adjustment, FORTY seats upstairs, etc
Flying them 30 hours each way SYD-BKK-Rome-Madrid in March upstairs and NOT looking forward to it one bit.

MH provide limo service in MEL. SQ do not (IIRC).
The SilverKris lounge at MEL is newly moved (it used to be groundside) - now it is near the RCC in the lounge area underneath the far gates, and it is really nice. As a lowly UA*G flying Y I only got into the raffles section, but that was comfy with great drink and food selection and nice ice cream etc.
One of the nicer lounges at MEL I think
But come on, we all want to know what stunt Glen is pulling buying a full F fare ticket!!

Suffice to say the resident all-time FT perkmeister from somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere will be shown a new trick within the next few days by a contender from the Southern Hemisphere.
