Eye shades are essential and I often find the need to use two (an old one brought onboard, another one requested from the crew) to effectively block out the light.

I do find there's a need to request them onboard every so often though as the elastic often wares out quite quick with repeated use.

Malaysia Airlines used to supply hot towels in economy many eons ago but stopped 10 years back. They only now do it for business class.

LH as well if i remember correctly

I agree with what others have mentioned before, instead of cutting hot towels, I would rather them cut the amenity kits.

I would be upset if SQ stops the supply of toilet paper in their Y cabins.

This would certainly be a game changer I think in the airline industry and reducing 1 ton of weight everytime a long haul flight...flies from SF to Singapore for 18 hours...the amount of toilet paper used is just...........

Make them all clean themselves with their hands and let them wash their hands with water from a tank.

I think airlines should install Japanese style butt cleaning toilets. First you flush the toilet then the toilets flushes you!

But surely the amount of water used for that will weigh more than paper would?
