Still No Bickie!
Yeah I will never get over the axing of the bickie.
Overall seems that NZ is trying to provide the service that QF have been offering and is a step in the right direction. Let us hope they do not match the QF OTP as well
How long though before this gets dropped as well, remember domestic IFE, Wishbone etc....yeah a bit jaded but I am travelling NZ over QF this weekend though (Mrs Blackcloud's NZ Gold trip I hope)

Blackcloud have QF actually started providing their improved meal service yet?
I presume Wine and Beer will be available on those shorter segments as it is not included in the exclusions and is in high demand.
In response to Kiwi Flyer fat chance!
Of course once upon a time it was possible to do a full meal service on those services...

Well, well, well - who would have thunk. Food is back on NZ domestic
Meanwhile I have just moved to the US, where even on their "premium service" transcontinental route from JFK to LAX/SFO and vice versa, United (and indeed all the other carriers except CO) serve nothing beyond a bag of nuts or pretzels in Y. Sigh. And the "what's cooking in the Koru Clubs" thread is making me positively nostalgic!

I still cannot belive they served meals between WLG-CHC and my boss at work fondly remembers it, but is more impressed with the KC offerings.
Oh I wonder now if this is NZ answer to the question some had when they announced their E+ offering for elites and full fare passengers, as in they were going to giv ethe front of the cabin more room (still coming) and free food and drinks while those in the back

Different meal items on QF, they always now offer an apple (with quite a few takers) and orange juice, but for improvements? I do not know better quality? Foccacia sandwiches but tiny, quiches, pies as a non-meat eater I generally do not eat what is offered but I have not been offered cheese and crakers or a strawberry slice for a while now.
But Though looking at my own post of the announcement, it seems I'm wrong [I even bolded it!]

No. There is no service on the BEH anyway [due no F/A's], and currently the AT7 & DH3 provide coffee/tea/water with a biscuit.
