"Wine bar" question - wine for sale at the PC
Curious if CO still has plans to bring their "premium" wines in the PC to EWR or is that going to die at IAH?
Any reliable info on this?

I asked the bartender at EWR and she said "when that happens I'll be gone".
she said they are going to outsource the EWR bar, is it just me or does that sound stupid!?

I was told the same thing. Will be interesting to hear what the scoop is.

The last time I talked with an IAH PClub bartender, he said they were going to expand the program to include premium hard liquor (e.g., Patron, Bombay Sapphire, etc.)

Hi rapopoda, we’re hoping it won’t die at IAH. As some of you might remember, we were going to start expanding our premium-wines-for-purchase program to New York/Newark (EWR) and Cleveland (CLE) late last year. But unfortunately we ran into some logistical issues. I know that we’re actively trying to get the expansion of this program back on track, and I’m hoping to have more word on this soon.

I make it a point to buy the wines in the IAH clubs to support the program.
Two different bar tenders have told me a problem with the program is getting sufficient quantities of the premium wines. The brands change from time to time based on availibility. I'd immagine this creates a customer expectation issue and logistics issues and with updating the table tent menus.

New Wine Fee [at the PC]
Did I miss this thread? At the Presidents club today I saw a small sign w/new Fine WINES for a FEE!!!! I couldn't believe it and asked the barkeep. He said they started it this morning. I asked why there were two prices and he said that the HIGHER price was for the normal person but the LOWER price(about $3 lower) was for people w/the SPECIAL CREDIT CARD!!
$9-$12 for a glass of wine is HIGH for a place where the liquor is supposed to be free.
Give me a break!

CO started the fine wine for purchase program in response to customer requests for such an option. So, I guess CO should be ctiticized for listening to its customers.
