I don't know whether this scares or excites me. Or both...

I bow to your excellence!

2 words come to mind, but I don't want a bunch of crazed xtians after me for taking their lord's name in vain. Oh what the heck -- "Jeebus Krust!" I'd have to be stoned silly to do that.

Gotta tell you, if it weren't for the bonus miles, that just wouldn't be worth it, to me... except for the bragging rights! There's tons easier/cheaper ways to get 9k+ EQM (MR Sta-overnight DTW-LGW for <$400, for one, and there's sleep built-in!)... but with the bonus miles, that would equate to me to be a WBC ticket to Europe. $9+ EQM *plus* 100,000+ miles, for 2.75+ days work? Now *that* would keep the family happy in my 2.75+ day of flying.

I just want to see the face of the GA around Monday afternoon. Be sure to book the exact same seat for every flight. I'm sure you're going to start seeing the same flight crew and cabin crew...

But the bragging rights. That's a good one...

Thanks Steve - I will definately be bragging. But I think maybe you misread my post. I'm not doing this craziness for 9K - I'm doing it for 90K bonus miles.

Cheers,
Kelly

After all the posts on mistake fares, it is refreshing to see a true MR for points. It meets the UA minimum of $150 just right.

Based on the flight timings, it looks like it could be the same aircraft from PHX. Could change once you get to DEN though.

Good luck. ^ ^ ^

I'm probably missing something, but. . .

Isn't it one credit per flight or 2 credits for a RT? I.e. eight roundtrips will earn 16 credits.

Here's UA's website: http://www.united.com/page/article/0,6722,51504,00.html

EARN DOUBLE CREDITS ON SELECTED ROUTES:

Remember, for a limited time, earn double credits on these routes:
Between Denver and Baltimore, Chicago (Midway only), Las Vegas, Oakland, Phoenix, Portland(Oregon), Salt Lake City, San Diego and Seattle. Double credits may be earned between January 11, 2006 and July 3, 2006.

Nice job TravelG
I am pretty new at MRs, so I probably could have done a little better but,

I have booked MRs out of Den to BWI in March
The March Madness Triple Miles AND the 90K Bonus made it to good to pass up
Number of trips 8
RT Miles 2980
cost per trip $221
total cost $1,768

BIS EQM Miles 23,840

Miles Bonus
Prem Exec 23840
Total Booking plus Checkin online bonus 16000
Triple Bonus miles = 71,520
DEN Means the World Bonus (8trips=16 segs x 2 bonus = 32 segs =90K ) 90000
. BIS. + Triple (x2). + Prem Exec. + online. + DMTWTU
Miles = 23,840 + 47,680 + 23,840 + 16,000 + 90,000
:-: Grand total RDM Miles 201360 :-:

Grand total cents per mile 0.878 and insures I'll make 1P again next yer

Well done. You can only get up to 5K RDMs from the online checkin bonus, so you'll need to subtract 3K RDMs from your calculations. Happy flying!
