Definitely glad to get this one. Hardly ever get a targeted offer. Not sure if it helps but, as a data point, I am 1K UA (2MM) and Plat (lifetime) Marriott.

Dang. I got it and I just booked a November flight yesterday. I think I am just beyond 24 hrs to cancel and rebook. It says must be ticketed 10/24 or later. Also travel agency would dock me fee again

Interesting the SA shares my status through MM status but tried to register her and says she is not eligible. Could it truly be that the best customers are being thrown a "bone."(after having been boned for three years now by UA!)

I'm flying home from ZRH October 31st (in Germany right now). Of course ticket was purchased weeks ago. If I pay a change fee and fly home on Saturday, November 1st instead, would they re-issue it, in essence re-ticketing it and making the flight eligible?
