OK guys, here's one for the flyertalk hypotheticals...from the T&C's:

3. Ticketing dates: October 24, 2014 – February 5, 2015

I'm flying home from ZRH October 31st (in Germany right now). Of course ticket was purchased weeks ago. If I pay a change fee and fly home on Saturday, November 1st instead, would they re-issue it, in essence re-ticketing it and making the flight eligible?
