Champagne Gremillet, France
Champagne Gremillet is a blend of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay, due to which the pale golden brilliant color of the champagne, it reveals attractive fruity noses of peaches, apricots, pears and white flowers. Quite fresh in the mouth, it brings grapefruit and citrus taste on the palate, making it a great match with grilled food or as an aperitif.

A Schmitt Riesling
Mosel Valley Riesling White Wine, Germany
Riesling is the most important and widely planted white grape variety originated in the Rhine region of Germany. The generally cooler climate of the Mosel Valley allows the production of this light-bodied Riesling with animating acidity and a fine mineral slate note. The aroma combines peaches, green apples and gooseberries. The taste is fresh and sweet, revealing the typical acidity and good balance of Riesling. Recommended with Oriental cuisine.

Wairau River, 2012 Sauvignon Blanc
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc White Wine, New Zealand
New Zealand's Marlborough region is unique in its ability to create Sauvignon Blanc wine with juicy, upfront tropical fruit flavors unlike anywhere else in the world. The grapes used in our selection were hand picked with some fermented in stainless steel for freshness and others fermented in oak to add character, complexity and body. Exuberant aromas of pink grapefruit, passion fruit and citrus. Penetrating pomegranate character with refreshing fruit flavors adding to an overall elegance and refined structure. Recommended with Chinese, Western cuisine, chicken, or seafood dishes.

Chianti Riserva, 2011 COLI
Chianti Riserva DOCG, Italy
This "Chianti Riserva" is a full bodied wine, dry, recalling the sensations of the flavour, with good structure; sapid, cheerful, supple, a young and well balanced wine. With bottle aging this wine will become softer and more velvety. It is a great partner for rich red meat dishes, pasta and strongly flavored cheeses.

Galvin Family Cellars, 2009 Merlot Reserve
Napa Valley, Merlot Reserve, USA
The wine is from American Viticultural Area, Napa Valley which is made from elegant and approachable Merlot grapes. The color is a healthy dark ruby with aromas of red cherries, blackcurrants, plums, and seductive toasted oak. It is juicy, full-bodied, opulent, and layered with fruit and spice flavors. Long, supple tannins and elegance make it impossible to resist. Recommend to enjoy the wine with heavier flavor cuisine.

Chianti Classico DOCG, Italy
This "Chianti Classico" is a full bodied wine, dry, recalling the sensations of the flavour, with good structure; sapid, cheerful, supple, a young and well balanced wine. With bottle aging this wine will become softer and more velvety. It is a great partner for rich red meat dishes, pasta and strongly flavored cheeses.

Champagnes & Wines

Champagne

2004 Dom Perignon
Named after Dom Pierre Perignon (1638-1715), the monk and winemaker at the Benedictine Abbey of Hautvilliers near Epernay, who is credited with having ïnvented" Champagne. Moet et Chandon's Cuvee Dom Perignon is the most iconic of all Champagnes. Always a vintage wine from 100% Grand Cru vineyards, pale gold in colour with aromas of fresh almonds and white summer fruits, both caressing and precise on the palate. It finishes with an expression of utmost elegance.

Krug Grande Cuvee
Founded in Reims in 1843, the House of Krug is now managed by the 5th and 6th generations of the Krug family. Rigorous selection and care go into every detail of the "multi-vintage" Grande Cuvee, which offers a magical combination of aromatic complexity, power and finesse with a long, lingering finish. Krug is the ultimate experience in Champagne.

White Wine

2012 Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand
Cloudy Bay is arguably New Zealand's most famous winery. Since its first vintage in 1986, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc has excited wine drinkers the world over with its racy finish and zingy flavours and well deserves its cult status. Sauvignon Blanc grown in Marlborough in the South Island has a highly distinctive wine style and has played a major role in establishing New Zealand on the international wine stage.

2009 Domaine William Fevre Fourchaume, Chablis Premier Cru, France
One of France's most famous wine regions, Chablis produces the most classic white Burgundies from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on a chalky soil that brings a floral raciness to the wine. The Premier Cru "Fourchaume" lies just west of the Grands Crus of Chablis to produce wines with a distinctive elegance and length of flavour, particularly in an excellant vintage like 2009.

Red Wine

2007 Chateau Rauzan-Segla, Margaux, France
Classified as a "Second Growth" in 1855, second only to Chateau Margaux itself, the 51 hectare Rauzan-Segla estate has maintained this ranking across three centuries. Now under the meticulous ownership of the Wertheimer family, better known for their Chanel fashion brand, no effort is spared to make the best wine possible. 2007 is a lovely vintage with fragrance on the nose and fine texture on the palate, showing to perfection the depth and character from Rauzan-Segla's vineyards with the hallmark elegance of the Margaux appellation.

2009 Louis Latour Corton Grand Cru "Clos De La Vigne Au Saint", Burgundy, France
The Grand Cru "Clos de la Vigne au Saint" lies on ruby-red soil rich in marl, whose perfectly southern exposure on the lower part of the Corton hill brings distinctive aromas, structure and depth. Full ruby in colour, with a bouquet of blackcurrants and the autumnal flavours of Corton from a great vintage, velvety smooth on the palate, still showing some youthful tannins, this is a wine that combines vigour and elegance.

2010 St Hallett Blackwell Shiraz, Barossa, Australia
St Hallet Blackwell Shiraz is named in honour of St Hallett's winemaker Stuart Blackwell who has played a major role in the promotion and appreciation of Barossa's highly valued old vines. These wines are typically rich and fuller bodied with characteristic plummy flavours and a soft finish. Where Barossa has always been famous for its Shiraz, this wine is a fine example of modern Barossa Shiraz.

or

2010 Penfolds Magill Estate Shiraz, South Australia
Penfolds best red wines are served wht world over, as is their Chief Winemaker Peter Gago - the company dates back to 1844. The 5 hectare Magill Estate Vineyard in Adelaide is one of the only single vineyards located within city boundaries and produces iconic and classic shiraz of great concentration richness and quality.

Sweet Wine

2009 Chateau Filhot Sauternes
With south-west facing vines surrounding one of the most impressive 18th century Bordeaux Chateaux, Filhot was classified a top Second Growth in 1855 and subsequent generations of the Comte de Vaucelles family have maintained the reputation. Bright yellow-gold with floral aromas that contain white summer fruits, honey and a touch of citrus, the rich sweetness on the palate is lifted by natural acidity to give beautiful length and balance.

Port

Taylor's Twenty-Year Old Tawny Port, Douro, Portugal
Matured in oak casks known as "pipes" for a minimum of 20 years, this is a blend of six grape varieties which are indigenous to the high, heat-baked vineyards of Portugal's Upper Douro Valley. Over time the colour turns from dense purple-red through carmine to orange-tawny, the fruit retaining its rich, raisiny concentration and refining into a nutty, spicy, honeyed finish, a taste to linger over. Taylor's was established in 1692 and remains the most famous name in Port.

2010 Trefethen Family Vineyards, Harmony Chardonnay, Oak Knoll District, Napa, California, USA
This is an elegant Chardonnay with a vibrant flavour profile that ranges from tropical fruits to citrus and pear. The wine is seamless and generous without being heavy or rich. The acidity is refreshing and the finish fairly long. Quite different from many full-bodied Napa Chardonnays. Trefethen always offers restraint rather than power.
