Well done, and a good example of forward planning. I was given some forewarning of the date the inaugural would go on sale, and at that stage all premium classes were zero'd, so it was only 3 people like yourself you managed to "get the worm", and no-one once the flight was loaded into the systems.

Cheers - see you on the flight then

I saw it too! I was even luckier-I walked out of a pub right near the MCG only to look up and it was flying a few hundred metres above my head. I could tell straight away that it wasn't a jumbo, even though I couldn't see its nose from where I was (it turned left, smoothly rolled up its landing gear and flew north/north-east from where I was standing) The engines sounded completely different-surprisingly quiet and working a lot less hard than the 747s do. Amazing!

Hi all,

I have more Virtual Reality Visit (QT-movies) from A380 aircraft. I think its falubous video tour best we have. So here it is:

Another one good photos brand new A380 series has been already delivery to QF. Here the website you can watched the Quicktime video. Here it is:

Very nice N830MH, great QTVR shots.

Perhaps my opinion will change when/if I get to ride in F on the bloatbus, but from those shots I am left with a feeling of the prisoners chapel at Port Arthur, all little cubicles isolated from sight of anyone else, which I guess was probably part of the brief.

The SQ and EK are more reminiscent of a train somehow and don't leave me thinking that.

Does not appeal for some reason...

I am sure I will be in the minority on this opinion.

The pics posted above leave me with the feeling that the first class suites are actually just first class seats with a cocoon type of "headress".. I agree with above post ...very disappointing from the pics.... but who knows....

Great photo, but not sure about the last two rows, right next to the toilets and next to the Gallery/Snack Bar

38JK looks to be great but depends how many people walk past you

Thanks so much eoinnz, really great to see all of those.^

My two immediate reactions were a) the green Y section looks even nastier in colour each time I see it , and b) that Business lounge looks an awful disappointment. Reminds me of a waiting area in a dark corridor of an old gothic hospital (though with better seats !). Is very clear now why only 5 people may be allowed in it !

May well be that this is as good as it gets due to space limitations, but with the gimmics other carriers are putting on their new Big Birds if this is QF's only real USP onboard it really is going to lack the wow factor of most others.

J and Y+ section do look pretty good at least though.

P.S. - From your photos Y legroom looks v. cramped - is that an optical illusion of the photo, or has something changed in that regard ?

Way Way Way OT...

Eoinnz's image links don't seem to be working for me. I click on the link but it just comes up with a black page (image viewing is switched on via My FT options). Anyone else having those problems or is it just me?

Actually, I don't think the green looks as bad as it did in the initial publicity shot. The J lounge looks a bit weird though, I doubt I would use it.
