SFO- Downtown after midnight
will arrive about 11.45 pm. Which options for Limo / shuttle-services we have to downtown / market Street ? Last BART leaves around 11.45 ...:-(
I have seen, that some service do not operate at night.
Which service is reliable and not so expensiv ?
(2 Persons with baggage). Thanks

Definitely Uber.
I have used Supershuttle in the past; it's fine if everything is on time, but once, my flight was late (around 1:30am) and they refused to send a shuttle until 4:30am, even with confirmed reservation.
No point in the risk.

Similarly would suggest avoiding Supershuttle - I've had good experiences with them in other cities, but the exact same thing happened to me at SFO when my flight arriving around midnight got delayed, and I got stuck footing a taxi bill. Lyft or Uber is probably your best bet!

If you have never used Uber, there is a new rider conga for $20 off your first ride here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/s-p-m...r-service.html

After BART stops running, SamTrans bus 292 will take you downtown from the airport. I believe last pickup is at 1 AM or so. It will take you to Market street, and the F Market streetcar should still be running at that time. However that late at night, jumping in a taxi or calling an Uber will probably be faster and easier.

Don't even bother thinking about Super Shuttle. Uber may be marginally more expensive, but it is completely flexible. The last thing you need to worry about when you are late is whether Super Shuttle will meet you or whether you will be the last stop.

I've had both great and fair taxis at SFO, with a mix of drivers. Despite higher cost, I tend to only use taxis at SFO because taxi lines move fast and the taxi captains have been very efficient with keeping the taxi lines moving fast.
