Visa required
A friend booked a flight from BCN to VKO and then another on the same date from DME to JFK. Does she need a visa?

Is she a citizen of a nation that requires Russian visas? Then she'd better obtain a Russian transit visa.

Yes, she would need a transit visa. Might be cheaper to book another ticket to DME, rather then getting a visa.
