Jetstar SYD - SIN via DPS (JQ37 / JQ116)
Has anyone flown this?
Do you have to clear immigration/customs and check in again @ DPS? Do they/ can they issue JQ116 boarding pass @ SYD?
I booked the above on a single itinerary taking for granted that I would be checked through to SIN at SYD but I heard that is not always the case.
I rang JQ but the call centre has no idea, google and RTF no luck either
JQ37 arrives 9PM from SYD
JQ116 departs 10:45PM to SIN
This gives me only 1hr 45mins and the on time performance on JQ37 is not that great over the last week which makes me nervous.
I would have thought it would be a popular choice for many flying JQ SYD - SIN.
Would love to hear from anyone who has flown above on a single itinerary/trip.

Single direct flight probably helps.
Last time I was in DPS was over 20 years ago and was on Transit when UTA was still around. The shops were mostly single staff manned stalls of mostly FX, Alcohol/tobacco and the odd souvenir, today it has expanded to include many upmarket brands. The old terminal was much smaller then, departing and arriving Pax could mix. This is now segregated.
When I arrived, there was someone holding a sign for Jetstar transfer pax. They escorted me to transfer area. There was also another transfer pax from ADL arriving later.
Was told the terminal is pretty new, maybe 6 mths.
The Transfer/Transit entrance straight ahead (past VOA tourist tax on the right). Past this entrance, there are multiple transfer desk to cope for more than one airline, although only one was manned. Can't see many airlines outside Garuda or Jetstar that would utilise this, most other airlines terminated here.
Then there is security screening. Looks like they were not busy,I saw them all putting their hats/caps on just for me.
JQ37 usually uses incoming equipment JQ4 from Honolulu, so if that flight is late, it may impact outbound JQ37.
