How do these "Skybed MK3" compare to the MK2's?

Doesn't look like a lot of storage.

Are they angled to face towards or against the windows? ie: is it the AC style or the CX style?

Not angled at all. That is EK style.

Interesting - ALL 30 330's will get this - both those generally used for Domestic and those for international.

Obviously the Coast-to-Coast competition with VA is hotting up!

So both those generally used for Domestic and those for international.

Fact sheet: QANTAS AIRBUS A330 UPGRADE

It has been noted on AFF they are similar to seating used by Thai with a staggered/interleaved configuration:

Now this is looking much more to my liking. I don't like the current set-up, including on the A380.

After a TG A380 trip in these seats, QF may well hit the jackpot if they copy the TG layout.

TG A380 C? I wasn't that impressed on two recent flights. The privacy / solo aspect is a winner but the seat itself and having you crammed into the shell of the seat in front of you threw me off.

Did I read that right, they aren't starting the update until the end of next year, 2014?

That is a long time to hype new seats.

Nothing new here - IIRC QF were promoting the SkyBed Mk1 seats for about 2 yrs before they appeared.
