LH/LX/UA: FRA/MUC-NYC First Class rt $3300

Forgive me if this is already posted. I know there were some good deals out of Switzerland, but I am seeing decent Star Alliance first class fares originating from Germany.

Here is an example

https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...FRA0LH401;sc=f

I believe other US cities are available as well.

Hope this helps

Can the return on these fares be changed for the penalty (400 EUR) without re-pricing the whole ticket (as long as A fare code is available?)

Yes and no: only as long as all the other provisions are fulfilled (seasonality, flight restrictions etc.):

The fare code appears to be ANCPDEW:

Code:
IF CHANGES ARE MADE TO ANY OTHER THAN THE FIRST
TICKETED FLIGHT COUPON / THE FARE LEVELS IN
EFFECT AT TIME OF ORIGINAL TICKET ISSUE WILL
APPLY PROVIDED THE NEW ITINERARY QUALIFIES FOR
ALL THE PROVISIONS OF THE ORIGINALLY TICKETED
BOOKING CODE FARE IGNORING ADVANCE RESERVATION OR
          TICKETING PROVISIONS.

Hmm, assuming you refer to united.com, D fares are usually in business class .... ?
Still no F, though.

FAR (Fargo) or FRA??

Assuming you meant FRA yes I believe it will violate MPM.
