Still see a lot of availability from NYC to BUD and from ORD to SOF/OTP for ~$2,200. Mostly on Star Alliance airlines, but some SkyTeam as well.

Not sure about the $1960 price, but my wife and I just booked (March 23 morning) ORD -> BUD via LHR for ~ $2500 round trip in business class on ba.com using the AARP discount. Traveling in July.

Maybe these are already well known; sorry if so. Skyteam seems to be creeping down closer to $2000 from Delta hubs. Best I found this morning was DTW-FCO for $2199.
