FARE DEAD: All Alliances: US-Europe in J for ~$2k RT EOS?

Frequent Miler posted about business class tickets in the 2K range from a variety of US destinations (PHL, DFW, DTW, ATL) to London and Paris in J through what appears to be end of schedule. Fare war, so PHL and DFW are on DL/Skyteam, DTW/ATL on AA/BA, PIT-CDG on everyone, you get the idea. Sure there's plenty of searching to be done, but didn't see a thread for this.

The closest I saw on the West Coast is PDX-SFO-LHR RT for $2500 (https://goo.gl/flights/qRhe) on AS/BA

and PHX-ATL/LAX-LHR for $2000 (https://goo.gl/flights/at5Z) on SkyTeam.

I also see ATL-LHR RT on BA for $2000 (https://goo.gl/flights/ljWz). With AARP + CARDOFFERU, does that become ~$1600? Never used those codes before.

Looks like IAH possible on AA, including starting with the short hop to DFW but you can't go from DFW directly.

Also, FRA seems like a destination, and seeing sub-$1900 on AA from ORD among others.

This one is evolving.

Edit: And, poof, IAH-FRA disappeared.

SFO-MAN for $2K on SkyTeam (https://www.google.com/flights/#sear...017-05-16;sc=b). Could be good for EU positioning.

Book on BA credit to AA?

would I make less EQD since it's booking through BA?

Anyone getting these to price out? Google flights says the RT cost is $1871, but after selecting flights it says to book with american or BA for $3134.

That's a great one, nice find. Not too many connections out of MAN but should be noted there are a lot of flights from LON.

I had ATL-LON priced out with the AARP discount on the BA website about 2 hours ago but hesitated and now everything seems to be evaporating.

Ugh I have a RT J award to FCO from April 29-May 15.

I can't find any of these fares during those dates on OW, or even close dates (looks like the fares start in mid-May), or else I'd cancel the award in a heartbeat for the EQM that I'd earn on AA from this.

Some random observations:

1) Plenty of fares under $2K are still available. Cheapest one I've seen thus far is DFW-BCN for $1,799 on DL/AF/KL. (Interestingly, the AF/KL server seems to be down, but the fare prices out on DL's site.) Also plenty of fare availability out of IAH.

2) A number of routes appear to be selling out quickly. Out of JFK there are only a handful of routings still ~$2K: DUB, LIS, ARN, ORK (!), GOT.

3) Contrary to OP's post, many of the cheapest flights appear to be out of hubs, e.g. DL & ST for ex-ATL flights and AA/BA for JFK. (That said, the DFW-BCN flight is obviously an exception.)

Still looking - and wishing I'd seen this thread a couple hours earlier!
