Best I can find is

AMS-LHR-JFK-GRU-(MIA)-JFK-LHR for GBP 1191... At least it is easy from AMS and returning to LHR.

For 20 quid more you can do EZE.

Ohhh

I see, it is not HEL-JFK-GIG-GRU-MIA-MAD

It's HEL-JFK-GIG//GRU-MIA-MAD

Small detail [no flight between GIG and GRU], but important

Great price, good find. ^ ^

Also the AY flight is actually on the ticket as AA 8985, not under AY 5. Google is a bit misleading there. So if searching outside of Google you need to search under the AA code for the codeshare on AY.

Yes, but if you are doing this after June, it may earn 40,000 EQM but only 10,000 miles. Combine that with the miles being worth 30% to 50% less, it is like about 6,000 miles in todays currency.

Yes, you're right I forgot to add that you'd need to find your own way from GIG to GRU .

Apologies!

Prices went up for almost all flights, am I correct in that? I see most flights are about $2k, some can be had for 1800 and very few for $1680 if you don't have much time in between.

Am I seeing this correct?

At least there was MAD-SCL-AMS found in June for about $1580. Have you tried many different routes and dates?

I have, but I am trying to add in US stopovers, so probably why I can't get it lower.

Question AMS/MAD-US-LIM via GRU or SCL or EZE?

Has anyone been able to price a AMS/MAD-USA-GRU/SCL/EZE-LIM? I can't seem to get it to price anywhere. Perhaps I'm busting the MPM however, the fare rules seem to allow south american connections on LA/JJ. Someone earlier in this thread posted that routings via USA and GRU are allowed. Any experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe a bit off-topic, but some roughly comparable deals can be had in reverse, too:

4/22 GRU-JFK-MAD
4/26 MAD-DFW-SCL
US$1,663

4/21 GRU-DFW-CLT-FCO
4/25 FCO-CLT-DFW-GRU
US$1,838

4/22 GRU-DFW-CLT-FCO
6/15 FCO-CLT
9/8 CLT-MIA-EZE
US$1,762

The catch seems to be that all the cheap ex-Braziil fares require travel to commence by April 30, so these options aren't as flexible as the ex-EU ones.

I am still seeing routings from AMS-SCL-MAD (with a jfk stopover outbound) in June for $1708.

HEL-LHR-MIA-GRU-DFW-CLT-FRA 1599€. Over 40kEQM inbound end of May,return in beginning of June. All with AA flight numbers,HEL-LHR is AY operated.
HEL-MIA-GIG-GRU-DFW-CLT-FRA 1568€ Inbound possible HEL-JFK in AY metal(A330).Return connection also in MIA possible instead of DFW.
HEL-CDG-MIA-GRU-DFW-CLT-FRA 1586€
I chose LHR option for 77W to MIA. Kayak.de or .ie, the options were not available today in their mobile app.
Cheapest route from EU was FRA-GRU-MAD 1402€.I searched oj from/to AMS,CDG,LHR,FRA,MAD,BCN.
