Former TSA Worker Charged With Sex Crime
This did NOT occur at the airport, but is this the sort of person you would want grabbing at your body? Food for thought for all the TSA grope screen supporters.

You know, I'm sure the job didn't make the guy a pervert. But it DOES SHOW that people with sexual deviancy problems get hired by TSA. Something that investigative journalism really needs to explore.

Yes, it also hints at the inadequacy of the TSA's screening process.
The CIA or FBI are not just going to conduct a "background check" before they hire a new agent, they are going to thoroughly investigate their personal situations, interview their families, neighbors, etc.
If the TSA aspires to that sort of "law enforcement" role (including aggressive physical searches of the public), they need to manage their workforce like the CIA or FBI.
It's no longer enough for TSA to just hire warm bodies and then run a standard criminal background check.

The TSA also has had in its employ an FSD that was arrested for public masturbation. Doug Melvin.
