I don't think guests are free

I agree with the poster who said that the regular Priority Pass Rules, at any membership level, say guests are $27 per visit per guest. If you could bring guests free, Ameriprise would likely advertise this benefit.

The individual I listed on the Ameriprise MC application to get an additional MC card also received a PP card in their name.

How long from the time you got your new MasterCard did all of you get your PP cards? I've had the credit card for a couple weeks now, but still no PP card.

I don't understand why you think the benefit with this program would be better than in the full-paying PP card itself. The benefits under this program are actually less than those of the PP program in other respects (that is, no CO lounges are included without a fee). I wouldn't rely on a non-mention; rather, if it doesn't explicitly say that guests are free, I think we should assume the fee will be assessed (in accordance with standard PP policy).

I haven't received mine either (received my MC about 2 weeks ago. I am hopeful that it will arrive soon, as I have a trip that I would love to use it on coming up this weekend.

It took about three weeks for the PP cards to come. They come nicely packaged with a PP club guide as well as a brochure on the World MC benefits

Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping it somehow comes in the next few days.

Mine made it too--sitting in the ORD Northwest World Club right now!

By the way, someone asked a while back about whether they charge you if you go to a joint NW/CO club (like ORD). There are two separate check-in desks inside the door, so I assume if you check in with NW there is no fee, and if you check in with CO there is.

Will this one only work for the first authorized user or all authorized users?

Make sure you put your authorized user's names on the initial application. Don't try to add them after the fact or they won't get the priority pass until your first renewal. I got the card and then added my wife. Ameriprise told me that she wasn't entitled to a priority pass in her name for a year.

My fault for not asking about that beforehand. Live and learn.

So if I get a authorized user, I assume both of us pay $150/year each?

No. Just one $150 fee.

BillJ, whose PP card arrived while out on the last trip, and am travelling either too early in the day or through non-participating airports on the next trip.

PP working fine and not charged (yet) for a guest.

I am glad others are benefiting from this thread.
