Didn't they sell some to UL? I seem to have seen them on a BKK/PVG flight (UL fifth freedom rights flies CMB/BKK/PVG and the BKK/PVG leg has a very good early morning departure time).

Maybe they solve it like AF and you only have access to the hub lounges. That will not make the business lounges emptier.

Wouldn't count on lounge access, maybe for a "nominal fee" of 40 EUR or something, like the offer for FTL companions.
