Indeed I sat out both as I already have *G requalification next year sewn up thanks to a much older (and cheaper!) *A Viking fare. The Star Alliance cup runneth over of late!!!

kingstontoon, you got very lucky to check the QR SOF-JNB fare and find what was hiding there
Thank you for the credit! I was going to jump in earlier in this thread to point out I was the original poster but was too busy last night trying to find a cheap way to tie this fare in with various other moves to visit South Africa, Japan and Australia as well a few new country ticks on the same trip. It was also available as a one way for half the price and also available out of Varna, but I couldn't make it all work unfortunately. Next time...

Yup, Kingstontoon found it before me, which I realized when I went in to post to the QR thread. Full credit to him.

Is there any chance that they will honor it? Have been looking at past error fares with LH and seems there have been different action taken by LH. Is not like the price was 200$, in other words, one could actually claim they believed that the fare was not an error.

Wish I knew how to find my own BC cheap airfares...

I get them at 50% off retail - but my aim would be 75% off retail... more viking fares.

Welcome to FlyerTalk, koffitrash.

Please don't call it an error fare. I don't believe anyone has suggested it is.

This site - FlyerTalk - is the biggest "commercial blog" of them all!
