AA - 25000 Points by June 15, 2015
I am doing a status match. I am curious if anyone has any secrets to getting a 25000 points in this short time? I have some trips coming but not till May.

yes, fly as long a distance as you can afford on 1.5 EQP/mi and higher fares

Look in to Prem Econ and Bus class fares to Asia, and even the caribbean and Hawaii.

When in May? Taking the challenge in the last half of the year grants you status for the remainder plus the next.

For that to happen, the challenge has to start after June 15. That ship has already sailed for the OP.

My advice: SFO-ORD-PVG (or similar) and return in discounted J. One and done. Look at all the TPAC options through ORD or DFW and find the lowest I fare.
