The lingo doesn't say anything really, except asking if someone has done this route as an openjaw.

This is a tempting deal as an AA EXP... but just can't justify it after booking the other deal to Prague and Asia for 148. But I could re-qualify for about $3,800. :-p

Wow, cheaper than LGA. I found dates in 2015 at $383 put of ORD and returning into LGA.

I'm striking out from Miami, can't get anywhere close to what TFD was able to create...Looking at $750+ vs. $450 - searched through end of year

Sigh, wish this was available anywhere from west coast, have Vienna plans developing, but a round trip to nyc around adds easy ~450

Alitalia combo - use the segments up to MXP or BUD; get to VIE by train or LCC.

AA - drop the LGA- VIE segment, use only the VIE-LGA to come back to US.

Total cost will be $170 + $395 = $565. It looks like not very cost effective ^
This is wrong on so many levels. If you don't fly the outbound, they'll cancel the inbound.
Also, this was not Mauibaby2008's question. (S)he was asking about the Fly to Europe and earn 100,000 bonus miles promotion.
These tickets are not valid for that promotion. That promotion is only for H-fares or higher.

Does AA give actual miles for a short flight, like LGA to PHL (96 miles) or will there be a minimum award (like, of 500, as milecalc seemed to assume)?

Thanks, y'all!
If you're an Elite, you'll get a 500-mile minimum, however, regular members get the BIS amount. So 96 for LGA-PHL and 376 for ZRH-VIE.
