Epic fare....

This actually brings up something I was discussing with a friend recently. There are not a lot of cheap ways to get to ICN from C2....Only ICN seems to be this way...wonder why.

3/14 - 3/21 for $310 through aa.com

$299 if priced in Won google flights results shows it as 292 so it will depend on what your bank converts it to in USD

I pretty much just put in a departure data and let google flights calendar do the rest

How would I go about splitting the reservation so that its two reservations with one person each instead of one reservation with 2 ppl each? I assume its safe to call in now. Wondering if will get any resistance from phone agents.

What purpose would that even serve?

Shakey plans for myself, but the other person on the ticket would probably take the ticket and meet me in the states. Fare rules seem to allow cancellations for a small fee. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, it is practical at times to split a reservation into two and yes, it is something that agents can do. Shouldn't be a problem.

I'm not sure what the fare basis was but on the ICN-ATL $300 RT 150000KRW was the cancel penalty or 10000 KRW for changes. If for some reason the fare broke (I assume it did) and is a ICN-US and US-Destination, the more restrictive fare rules apply which is likely the $200 domestic change/exchange fee no refunds. I didn't book any so i have no idea what the fare basis was for this one so cannot give exact details.

You can be on same ticket and still not show up, it doesn't matter.
