I didn't have anything planned over Martin Luther King weekend, had a $230 ecert to use, and I have that Monday off, so I decided to see what I could come up with for a MR. This combines a PHX-MCI fare basis with a COS-MCI fare basis. It will take a total of 3 days to complete. I will get a hotel in MCI, which is fine with me because I will go out and have some KC BBQ and a few beers. The second night I will be on a redeye from PHX to ATL so no hotel needed. With my cert the whole flight cost less than $100 out of pocket and will net me ~8300 miles. Here is my itinerary:
