Have you been able to book? I tried these dates on the TK site and just get an error when I select CC. If I just select Y on that route it prices out over $2200. XP doesn't offer any CC to BKK on TK, just gives an error. XP is showing CC to IST alone at $1800 even.

tk's website is garbage. call or use an agent. i flew this last year for a little less money. Great product, only wish I knew about the change restrictions in advance. A/U no longer earns the 150% on UA.

Well, yes A intenvoty is very rarely available (close to 'never') on a LAX route. Plus if you look into BKK - not all flights have comfort class, so you need to look into multi city.

NRT has better connections in IST but does not improve LAX-IST availability (TK does not seem to use married segments).

Note also that some fares are improperly filed - industry fare type is set to economy but not to premium economy => in these cases you will likely see economy seat map. This shall be fixed by a call center or at checkin only.

Just found out that fares are no penalties - free refund and free changes (subject to A availability, of course). Applies to A2WR1 type fares.

Yep, found something similar finally, but it was a pain. Going via multi city initially says CC, but when you get to the last page it comes out in Economy Restricted (V) I found one with a 1 day turn in NRT (LAX-IST-NRT-IST-LAX) with an overnight in IST on the way back (I think there is TK benefit for a free hotel in this case?). Same price - 1732 ai

For NRT and some other cities there are 2 fares: one A- is correct CC class fare and the other A- is misfiled/ old economy at same price (moreover with change/ refund fees). If it automatically gives you the second then I am afraid the only solution is to use an agent.

I flew this last year for a little less money. Great product, only wish I knew about the change restrictions in advance.

Words of advice about TK CC offers. CC is currently deployed on these routes only: New York, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul. Thus resulting in a error when trying to book BKK. TA's can't help you.

This winter TK deployed 77W to BKK/SGN but the ability to book CC on these routes lasted only few months.

I don't believe Seoul should be included on that list, currently ICN is A330/A340 depending on the day of the week. Unless there is a plan to upgrade it to the 77W sometime this year, then no Comfort Class on that route and I am not aware of any more incoming 77Ws to TK anytime soon. While ICN does have a Comfort Class fare published, I've not yet found a way to book it via NRT or CN/HKG.

AF does not have the lie flat beds that Air Canada offers.. Frankly AC if you have status is far superior! Hands down. I even know one AF Plat who is switching back to AC SE.
