You don't need a TA. You can book them online at all the usually suspects (cheaptix, expedia) but I found the lowest price at emirates.com.

*A premium fares in CMB are expensive and not competitive. You should opt for OW ^

Looks like this fare is no longer available?

Hope you checked the LH fare class to make sure it's not an L or K fare which earns nada miles in most FF programs, and just 25% in M&M.

A half-dozen of us have booked the US Air Thanksgiving fare ($800+/- in A) for a weekend in Dublin.

Hi Shareholder,

First of all, thank you very much for the friendly warning. I was silly and yes, I did book the Lufthansa flight without even checking the fare-code. I checked it a couple of hours AFTER the booking but thanks God, I am good... 100% on UA... But thanks once again, I did not consider that before, but I also realized it

Best regards and thanks once again!

For what it's worth, it is possible to use this fare to get a LH leg in A380 F SIN-FRA. I believe it is also possible to sneak a TG long-haul in as well. You can't do the entire trip via *A, but you can get some *A legs in.

NZ is offering a decent business class fare from major cities in Japan to New Zealand for JPY233,000 AI (approx. USD2,936). It can be routed through HKG as well. Two stopovers each way are allowed. JPN-NZ sectors are in J, other international sectors in C/Y, and domestic sectors are in Y (NZ) or H/M/B (NH). Max stay of 1 month, changes/cancellations cost 50% of the fare, bookable until 31 March 2013.

For eg:

Nov 18 US 1507 EWR 6:30AM CLT 8:33AM 2h 3m Airbus A321 First (A)
Layover in CLT 11h 47m
US 704 CLT 8:20PM FRA 11:00AM 8h 40m Airbus A330 Business (Z)
Layover in FRA 4h 45m
LH 980 FRA 3:45PM DUB 4:50PM 2h 5m Airbus A321 Business (Z)
Nov 23 LH 983 DUB 5:35AM FRA 8:40AM 2h 5m Airbus A320 Business (Z)
Layover in FRA 2h 5m
US 705 FRA 10:45AM CLT 2:45PM 10h 0m Airbus A330 Business (Z)
Layover in CLT 3h 40m
US 721 CLT 6:25PM EWR 8:15PM 1h 50m Airbus A321 First (A)
$988.00
Guessing I mised it. I entered in the exact flight times listed above on CheapTickets but it just gives an error that no flights were found.

IIRC fare rules stipulated 90 day advance purchase. We're right at that mark this week.
