Saudi Visa - expired passport
Hi everybody,
I'm looking at making a trip to Saudi Arabia in the next month to visit a client. I have a Saudi visa that is valid until the end of 2017, however it is on a passport that is expired. The visa page is not altered in any way, nor are there any hole punches in that page.
Should I risk using this one, or just pony up to get a new one?
thanks

I've had visas in expired passports (can't remember if Saudi, but other countries for sure). I just stapled the old passport to the new one. This is not uncommon in the Middle East.
But since you have a month ahead of you, might as well at least check with your local consulate.

They will notate in the new passport before they stamp it, but so long as you want to travel with both passports with the existing visa, you will be fine.
