Free Internet Access for Platinum Members
Has anyone else been receiving free Wifi/Internet service at full service Marriotts? I have had 2 in the last week, that were suppose to be $13.95 a day for internet usuage. Both times on checkin I was told that the internet charge was being waived since I am a Platinum member.
Will be nice if this becomes the norm for elite guests. I am always amazed that if I stay at a $60 a night Fairfield, I get internet, parking and breakfast for free. But, if you stay at $150+ a night Marriott, they nickel and dime you for every small detail.
One was by LAX and the other in PHX (The Buttes Resort).
