"Autograph Collection, the Marriott International brand for upscale, independent hotels, plans to double its UK portfolio within the next two years. The brand has been established for five years and is expanding rapidly. It currently has three properties in the UK and is set to open its 100th worldwide property in South Africa by the end of the year. John Licence, European leader for the Autograph Collection, told The Caterer: “There are currently four projects under development within the UK but we are unable to give any more details at this stage. We hope to double the UK collection in the next two years.”

We have a reservation at the Fontecruz Sevilla in April. Received a letter a few days ago that the hotel will be removed from the Autograph Brand on December 31, 2015. The reservation will be honored but no elite benefits.

I like the list at the top of this thread. I've only stayed at three Autograph Collection properties so far, but I think it's a great brand. How nice to have full service hotels with distinct, one-of-a-kind personalities under the Marriott umbrella! I hope the Autograph Collection will continue to grow.

All three Autograph Collection properties in the UK need to be added to the list:
UNITED KINGDOM
Edinburgh - The Glasshouse
London - St. Ermin’s Hotel
London - Threadneedles Hotel
Marriott's own official list at http://www.autograph-hotels.marriott...otel-locations currently has big problems. It lists Germany as part of the United States (listed between Georgia and Hawaii), with the Hotel Blackhawk in Berlin (instead of Davenport, Iowa). It also lists Berlin (Hotel Am Steinplatz) and Dresden (Gewandhaus Dresden) under France.

I've also stayed at 3 Auto Col props (Wicklow, Ire and Rouen/Lille, France) but not one of them knew anything about the MRs program nor benefits starting w PAGs.

The Rouen prop only retains its shell as the entire guts have been replaced while Lille has kept both shell and most of its guts.

Wicklow, a year after, still tends to think they're an RC and acts that way too.

Only one of these 3 I'd ever consider returning to is Lille.

It's been a few years since I stayed at Autograph Collection properties, but they all recognized my Platinum status and treated me well.

Bohemian Celebration (Florida) upgraded us to a Junior Suite with a lake view (even though I didn't ask for an upgrade). It was before the Platinum arrival gift rules were changed; we received the most impressive cheese and fruit welcome gift I ever received, along with the typical 375ml Meridian Merlot.

Raphael (Missouri) upgraded us to a 2-room suite. The full breakfast in the restaurant every morning was outstanding.

The Henry (Michigan) would have put us on the club floor (normal size rooms with a higher ceiling) if I had been willing to wait an hour or two, but I opted for a room that was ready. We received access to the excellent club lounge, with good food and complimentary alcohol in the evening.

Each of these stays was a few years ago, so the experience now might be different. But these properties all knew about the Marriott Rewards elite benefits -- and arguably provided above-average elite benefits.

must have been nice to stay at US Autograph Collection props that knew what the MR system was but all 3 of my stays (in Ireland & France) earlier this year (May/June) all knew next to nothing about the MR benefits program and verbaly stated "we're AC - we don't participate"

The employees thought they worked at AC Hotels, not Autograph Collection hotels?

The service we had at the Powerscourt property was appalling. The room was beautiful, but the service was absolutely abysmal. Good brekkie though... once they decided to allow us to partake. I'll second the poster who said that their employees knew nothing about Platinum benefits... nor did they care.

We stayed at the Boscolo Exedra in April and it was a solid experience all the way around. The property was beautiful, the service was great, and the location couldn't be better for being able to get around Rome easily (and find cabs when necessary). I actually just snagged a LNF rate for our return this coming April, and I'm really looking forward to it!

Have added the 3 UK properties. And yeah, Marriott's IT seems to be pretty bad at geography.

Reports are that some of the European properties such as the 3 you mentioned are not that great w/ the Marriott Rewards program. Sigh.
