Always test one gc before buying too many that you cannot liquidate.
As of 6/2017:
HB Vanilla mc & visa issued by Bancorp - liquidate at PO or some grocery stores, not WM. The Bancorp gcs are easier to liquidate.
Vanilla mc issued by MetaBank - might be able to liquidate at Kmart BP, Paypal, not WM or PO.

Only $250s at my closest Sam's now. No WWs left either. Looks like my NFCU card will get more of a rest now.

This morning none if the remaining 20-500s would scan. They worked yesterday. Tried HB and gift card both with black strip and the new ones that just need to be scanned. had the lady scan the 20-250s on both varities and the both scanned. Any other days points?

based on DPs here and elsewhere, the 500 variables are dead.

You are all probably right. But if they still have the 500s in the store, I'm going to try (at least once a month) until they ship them back to the warehouse. Or until my membership expires... Because GCs are the only thing I buy there.

Let me know if you ever get a 500 to work as I have a stash that had either vendor or host time out that I kept just in case I ever needed them. I seriously doubt that they are going to work unless there is a decision to start offering the 20-500s again. I wonder what time they got turned off. Thursday afternoon worked, but Friday before 8am didn't.
