Biased

www.theallison.com

We are an 85 room boutique hotel in Oregon's wine country. We have only been open for ten months but already have fantastic reviews and have been included on the Conde Nast 2010 "Hot List". I know I am VERY biased as the Director or Rooms here, but we have fantastic private ownership, a top GM (Pierre Zreik who opened Cavallo Point in San Francisco and prior to that was a GM at some top Rosewood and Four Seasons properties), and a increasingly interesting wine country.

We would love to be included on this fantastic list; please let me know if I can add any information!

By massaging the link above in the obvious way, I got the 2013 Virtuoso guide online:

Great thread indeed, keep them coming! I would also like to add a couple of hotels: a great resort in Tyrkey, the 5-star Hillside Beach Club:

and a 4-star hotel in Spa, in the Belgian Ardennes:

Considering that the European Tour thread has been moved I wonder if I could ask David O to post the link to his really useful maps of Virtuoso hotels here or should it go in a thread of its own.

For anyone looking for links to the maps of Virtuoso hotels kage has kindly added them to this post - http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/14017556-post43.html above.

Thanks for the wealth of information! Maybe I missed it, but I am curious why Fairmont is not in post #1. In several cities I'd take Fairmont over Four Seasons in a heartbeat (e.g., Vancouver BC, Maui, etc). The Fairmonts I've stayed at also rate higher IMHO than the Ritz. Thanks again.
