Yep, that will be EW op by 4U A319s.

The unit cost of CRJs don't justify them working for LCC ops.

Hi!

Sorry if this is already mentioned in other posts but searched for a while and found nothing.

4U cancelled my flight 4h before departure by mail. There was no other flight this evening so was rebooked to the next morning. Afaik I can claim EU261 and also the hotel room, am I correct? Has someone an idea how to claim it with 4U or done this before with 4U (is it worth the hassle?)

thank you for your help/experiences

Hi

I have a question regarding the Miles & More program..

Considering they will honor my ticket, I'll be flying in C-class with ET from BRU via CDG & ADD to CPT and back.

I'm fairly new to milage programs, but I'm at the moment a member of Asiana Club. This trip wil earn me roughly 13725 x 125% = 17160 miles.

Miles and More will be a more interesting program for me I think, since I'll be flying with Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines & LOT quite a few times the next months.

I can't seem to figure out how much miles I will be accredited to my M&M account for this trip. The explanation on their website is quite complicated - at least for a noob.

According to the ET website I'll be flying these miles
BRU-CDG & CDG-BRU : 157 each

The M&M website says (for ET)

International European flights

Business Class
C, J: 2.0 x distance; at least 1,000 miles

Does this mean I will get for each leg of the journey to/from BRU to CDG 1000 miles? So 2000 in total?

Flights from / to / between non-European destinations

Business Class
C, J: 2.0 x distance; at least 1,000 miles

Then I'll fly from CDG to ADD :3463 miles , ADD to CPT: 3237 miles, CPT to GBE: 779 miles , GBE to ADD: 2469 miles, ADD to CDG:3463 miles.

And would this be: 2x 3463+ 2x3237 + 1000 (because CPT-GBE is <1000 miles?) + 2x 2469 + 2x 3463= 26264 miles?

In total 2000 + 26264 = 28264 miles?

I'm lost. Can somebody help? Thanks a lot in advice!

Cheers

My guess is CDG and GBE are technical stops and since the flight number does not change your flights are effectively BRU-ADD and ADD-CPT and back. So you will get 2x 3487 + 2x 3238 miles each way or 26900 miles in all.

Hi guys, sorry for asking so many questions and not helping you with answers but i still new to this.

I became a member of M/M last year, so my account said that i will be SEN till February 2018 and i got two evouchers and soon in February i will hit again SEN thats mean that i will be SEN till 2021 February ? selected miles should start from 0 every year ? what about HON miles ? (because it looks like it started from 0 again also, so 2015 will not count, just 2016 and 2018)

Is it possible to use evouchers to get an upgrade with staralliance Flights or an upgrade for someone else with LH flights or star alliance, to first class?

You qualified in 2015, and got SEN for 2016+2017.
Bu qualifying in either of these two years you will extend to 2018+2019.

So if you hit 100k by february, you will be set until February 2020.

Please note that any flying in 2016 and 2017 won't extend your SEN any more.

And of course, if you are flying so much, look at the HON requirements. 600k in two consecutive years.

Yes it is possible to use 2 evouchers to upgrade to first. Easiest to do on Swiss, second easiest on Lufthansa, and the partners might get *complicated*

For HON miles either 2015+2016 or 2016+2017 should count. Once you requalify as SEN your account statement should tell you how many HON miles you will need to reach HON status.

e.g. To achieve the HON Circle status, you will need to earn xxxxxx additional HON Circle miles between 01.01.2015 and 31.12.2016.

Yes, you have rights under the duty to care (hotel room and meal(s)) and cancellation. File your complaint with the 4U customer service first to document that you told them. If you don't hear anything from them in 4 weeks, go to the LBA and file their form.http://www.lba.de/EN/Administration/...ghts_node.html

Thank NewbieRunner, JanoSicek

Last year was my first year as a member of M/M and also my first time as SEN in LH, i got two Evouchers. Next month i will become SEN again so i will get Two more eVouchers? i Will have 4 eVouchers or do i need to spend them before i hit SEN again?

I got some miles voucher over a nonfunctional F class Seat and after almost 6 weeks they still haven't been added to my account, as they requested i sent them a copy of the vouchers by fax twice and after two weeks i haven't heard back from them. Should i have received some kind of acknowledgement from them?

I also haven't received any mail from them, not even any of the M/M membership Cards, for information in living in Shanghai.

The new evouchers will appear in your account the day after the old one expire, so 1.1.2018

UA rerouting

Hi. I dont know if it´s a correct place to ask it.

I have an IAH-LAX flight for tomorrow in A (300% miles + 25% bonus for M&M Account).

The flight is overbooked apparently and the system offers me a free change or even rerouting to IAH-SFO-LAX or IAH-ORD-LAX (all in First).

In the case of rerouting you obtain 325% miles for each segment (which would be quite more than in case of the direct flight) or the originally booked one?

Thanks

See into which fare bucket the rebooking goes into. If its in A, life is good and you earn 325% on the additional distance. If its in anything else, you have to later apply for a retrocredit asking for original routing credit.

Thanks. That´s what I was thinking (that the FLOWN miles count, even if you fly from IAH do DFW vía JFK) , but I just wanted to make sure

Thx

Does LH have 24 hour free ticket purchase cancellation policy with full refund and without deducting any penalties despite the fare say so?

Yes. Request the refund online for quicker processing. Credit card fee is not refunded.
