Parking in Sorrento to visit Capri

We will be staying in Capri for 3 days and from everything I have read, parking in Sorrento is our only option. Does anyone know the best parking garage to leave a rental car that is close to the ferry? And cost of the parking? I have a couple of websites for parking garages, but I would like advice on here. Thank you in advance.

It's been a long time since I was there but the salient point to remember are:

Ferry pier is below the cliffs so you either walk or take a bus down, though someone can shuttle you down (and back up) but the driver will have to walk up/down. AFAIK, there are no parking garages by the ferry pier. No idea about the parking garages and if they are overnight.

Does your rental car company have a location nearby? Perhaps they'll let you leave the car on their lot for a few days.

No, we are renting the car at MXP in Milan. Every summer we live in italy, and we always rent a car to get around . I think I found a parking garage. Thank you!

Hi Brandi. My wife and I are planning this trip in late May, and I have yet to find a great response to the question of where to park our rental vehicle on the mainland while we are in Capri for a day or two. Would you mind sharing your solution -- the place that worked for you?

Don't forget there is also a lift from Sorrento belvedere to the port. Costs few cents.
