Thanks for your idea maggie08. I would love for it to work out that way (to help each other out), however I really need Saturday night stays to make this offer worth the investment.

That has nothing to do with this promo specifically.

All rates that qualify for earning points qualify for this promo.

(Thus, what rates are qualifying and what rates aren't has nothing to do with this promo. It is a general IHG Club thing.)

No, "rates that qualify for earning points" = "rates that qualify for this promo".

In other words, if the rate earns points (whether there's a promo or not), then that rate is a rate that will work with the promo. If the rate wouldn't earn points any day of the year, then that rate won't work with this promo.

oh jeezus.... now the BRG people are insisting on sending me a check for my valid BRG that they said wasn't a valid BRG once the accounting department figures it out... I give up.

so I'm going to assume by the time they fix this mess that my Big Win promo which should have been buttoned up by now will be even more messed up and I'm going to grab a night in San Diego area heading towards Fallbrook CA for Sunday 12/15 and one for Fallbrook heading back towards San Diego CA on 12/18. If anybody needs a guest check in PM me.
