Intercontinental Berlin - has anyone stayed there?
We are planning a 3 night stay in Berlin at the end of May and were planning to use PC points. I would appreciate hints from anyone who has stayed there, like room location, Club Lounge evaluation. Might my Platinum status get me upgraded to Club Level?
Also, I was considering paying for Intercontinental Ambassador but wonder if it is any real benefit over Platinum Status?
Thanks for any advice from the savvy travelers on this board

Plat status means nothing at Ic's, so forget that.
Ambassador should get you a 1 level upgrade, although as it is a reward stay this is not a guarantee. You'd also get 4pm check-out and a free movie, and of course the free weekend night voucher and the 5k PC points.
And welcome to FT!

LarryandRegina, welcome to Flyertalk.
We have master thread for quite a few Intercontinental hotels and you have for sure noticed, that the IC Berlin is among those hotels with a master thread as highlighted in the posts by nicolas75.
Instead of merging I will close this thread and suggest you have a look at the IC master thread which covers many topics of this board:
