GIG-CPH in C

Im going to Copenhagen end April for two weeks and looking to buy two C-tickets for my better half and myself. Seems all the carriers are charging about the same price so wonder if anybody's got some suggestions to make?

Should I wait to see if there will be a sale our should I just suck it up and pay the price?

Thanks in advance for all your comments - and sorry if this is a very rookie question!

GIG-CPH in C

Hi there

I will be going from GIG to CPH end April and back again two weeks later. Looking at business tickets it seems that the prices are basically the same across the different carriers.

Should I just book now and get over with it or do you think it's better to wait. Are there any sales or promotions that I should be able to take advantage of?

Thanks in advance for all your replies - and sorry for this possibly being a rookie question!

I would imagine that from now on prices are only going up. No one has sale fares on business tickets three/four weeks out. Take the hit now.

I agree. A sale for business class tickets for end of next month is unlikely. Buy now before the fares are increased.

Are you after the most comfortable seat/most premium experience, or the shortest, best-timed flights?

Keep in mind that European airlines generally don't offer premium cabins on their intra-European flights. "Business class" usually just means a blocked middle seat and some complimentary catering. The longer the connecting flight, the more this matters. On TAP, going GIG-LIS-CPH, you'll sit on a cramped and decidedly un-premium shorthaul plane for three-and-a-half hours (they at least have decent legroom in their shorthaul business class) On LH, AF, KLM or BA this won't matter as much as FRA, AMS , CDG or LHR to CPH is a short hop of about an hour.
If you fancy widebody comfort with lie-flat seats all the way, book on Emirates where you get an A380 from Dubai to Copenhagen... but at the expense of significantly longer flights.

Avoid connecting in the USA. The US doesn't 'do' international-to-international transit, and you'll be subjected to the full immigration 'experience' and need a transit visum.

Thanks for all the answers, will book my tickets tomorrow.

I am after the most comfortable seat on the long-haul leg from Brazil. Fully aware of the less premium experience intra-Europe so just after the possibility to be able to catch some sleep during the long leg.

Went on C with LH a few months back and enjoyed that experience. TAP I have only heard have a poor service so might skip that but that's not what this thread is about. Alternatively might opt for KLM and try out the 787.
