We all need to stop by and make additions and deletions every now and then.

These are all for SAT San Antonio:

Acenar: Mexican
Go Hyang Jib: Korean
Koi Kawa: Japenese
Long Horn Cafe: American/Hamburgers
Pompeii Italian Grill: Italian
Prickly Pear: Southwestern

Please remove:

Aldaco
Biga
Fratelli
Karems
The Lodge
Matisse

Acenar is an outstanding new addition. It is a new restaurant with a prime Riverwalk location. Very modern and upscale. Great food!

Excellent new addition to the SNA list

SNA - CA, Orange County, OC North/Central - Caf Chin Chin - Asian

Excellent if not a bit pricy Mandarin with a hint of Vietnamese (Summer Rolls and Bao). Sampled several of their "house specials" and they are special. I'll be back again once a month

Taxi's

Great thread, especially for options when traveling. Thanks for all the suggestions. Here's one for casual dinining, Taxi's Hamburgers. Delicious burgers, sandwiches, potatoes, salad bar and the best onion rings. Several locations in the Bay Area. Only 5 points/$1 but if you've got the urge for this kind of food, or need a visit for a promo, Taxi's is great.

SJC/OAK/SFO - Santa Clara, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Walnut Creek, Dublin - Taxi's Hamburgers

I second this recommendation for quality fast food. Good for cheap iDine credits. Sign up for their e-mail list, and they'll periodically send you some nice offers like a free pita plate on your birthday.

First, I wanted to let you know that the following two restaurants have closed.

LAX - CA, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles - Rouge - Latin/French Fusion
LAX - CA, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills/W. Los Angeles - Gangadin - Indian

Then, I wanted to add the following:

LAX - CA, Los Angeles, West Hollywood - Central

New restaurant in the heart of the Sunset Strip. Just opened. Has great potential. On the cheap side of expensive. I think two people, two drinks, two appetizers, two entrees, no deserts was $120.00. Great view when you are standing, partially obstructed view when you are dining from downtown to Century City. Above the Equinox gym.

LAX - CA, Los Angeles, West Hollywood - Blowfish Sushi to Die For

Great new sushi restaurant on the end of the Sunset Strip near the border of Beverly Hills. Cool vibe, cool sushi chefs, anime on the flat screens throughout. I love this place.

Thank you for maintaining this list.

If you're in NYC, a must-go restaurant is called Comfort Diner. It's nothing fancy -- just diner fare. But they ahve the best fish & chips and turkey and dressing in the city! They also have great homemade desserts. A couple can eat there for well under $50. And you'll eat good. You get the homestyle meat and veggies your mama used to make.

There are 2 locations. One is down around Penn Station. The other is on the East Side in Midtown. I can't remember exact addresses, butt the East Side location is a few short blocks from the Grand Hyatt. I know it's between 2nd and 3rd, and I believe it's on 45th Street. The other is between 6th and 7th and on 30th street to the best of my recollection.

I believe it's 10/miles per dollar. It's a great find and a lot better than the trek to an overrated tourist trap like Serendipity or Mickey Mantle's. Both of them are on I-Dine and are way overrated. But I'd trek all over Manhattan for some more Comfort Diner fare.

Happy Eating!

I realize that I may have just had a bad experience, and that opinions may vary. But I have to say that in my opinion, this is the worst restaurant at which I have eaten in 2 years living in San Francisco. I had a large meal with 3 or 4 different items and each item was just bad. Any other opinions out there about this one?

Pizza Port??? Their government cheese pizza only tastes good after you're drunk off their beer...
