New A319

Iberia has introduced new seating on the 319, apparently it is also coming to the 320 and 321. No seat recline any more (Ryanair style) and less legroom, also in Business Class. Smaller tray tables, I guess the old larger ones would collide with the passenger.

Iberia used to have one of the best business class seats in Europe, sad to see it gone.

And no, it was not Iberia Express, mainline IB plane, FRA-MAD. One way ticket 489, disappointing.

Are you sure this isn't EC-MFP, the/one of the 319s that came from AF last year?

Is it going to be rolled out gradually? I am flying MAD-DME in December in business and really looking forward to a proper business class seat.

Well, one of the flight attendants claimed it came from AF, but the more senior one corrected him, saying it was going to be rolled out all over the fleet.

Since I had it twice it would have been bad luck to get the same plane twice.

Is there a page where you can check which plane flew which route when?

to DME you should get the medium haul business class seats, 2-2 seating, decent recline, a bit better than F in the US

Yes, www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/ec-mfp but it probably wouldn't go as far back now.

EC-MFO for both segments. Formerly F-GRHA operated by AF.

Just got some bad luck there.
