As far as i understand, yes.

Regarding routes, I have no idea how reliable this source is so take it for what it is...

19SEP2012: Iberia plans to use A330-300s to Dakar, Rome and Tel Aviv

Iberia (IB, Madrid Barajas (MAD)) has published its first schedules for the first of eight A330-300s it has on order with deliveries expected to start towards the end of the year. It currently plans to use the aircraft on shorter haul routes initially with flights from Madrid to Dakar Yoff-Léopold Sédar Senghor International (DKR), Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci International (FCO) and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion (TLV) currently planned for the month of February 2013

Those are great news (about TLV)
Do you have details of these new seats? Thanks.

Flights with A330 are already bookable eg MAD-MIA from March 2nd.
It does indeed look like they will be used, but infrequently, MAD- LAD, FCO, LHR, TLV, DKR

Seat plan as per the below, economy is 2+4+2

Do you have the schedule of the A330 service to TLV?

Looking forward to the new J seat.

Flying BOS-MAD on May 27 (IB6166) in business. Have confirmed seats but now the seat map is not available on Iberia.com. It still lists my original seat numbers. I think this route had a plane change to the new A333... Anyone have a seat map for the IB A333 or this specific flight? For a honeymoon, seating is important...

Expert Flyer doesn't have the seat map either. Perhaps pick seats which are next to each other in both configurations. 3E and 3G seem good for that purpose.

I saw your seat map but I am booked in 3L and 3J. But it looks like there is no 3L on the A333. So I called IB. The CSR confirmed the aircraft type and then confirmed my seats. When I questioned her, she said again that the seat numbers are confirmed. I am still skeptical

I also just had a 333 swapped into a route that I have from MAD to JFK. I can't make heads or tails out of the seat map. There are 4 of us and I was sort of hoping we could sit next to each other in windows, but that doesn't look possible. Any ideas about the configuration?

Edit: For what it's worth, I found this lengthy trip report of an Alitalia 330 flight with the same seats in what appears to be the same staggered configuration. Lots of high quality photos here, which gave me a better sense of what the Iberia 330 business cabin will look like. I guess E and G are the way to go for flying together. Bummer -- we would have liked a window. http://www.aviazionecivile.org/vb/sh...-Milano-FINITO

I don't know what to make of rows 7 and 8, being back to back. I would guess that there must be a pretty significant gap between rows 7 and 8, but who knows? It may well turn out that 8A and 8L are the big winners.
