Based upon requests, this is now a wiki - please feel free to edit - but please only post the suite that you are confirmed into and not what you ultimately get (eg PH Vendome books into Park Suite but many ultimately get a Park Executive Suite). I'll start with that one for formatting example - I will try to do refinements to this when I have some time later.

To check the room type you booked into, you may use Hyatt E-Concierge:

Quick question, I have a possibility of reserving at the Park Hyatt Busan. But to get the best rate I'd need to book 2 nights and then again for 2 nights (making a total of 4 consecutive nights).

Would this require me to use 2 of my 4 annual suite upgrades rather than just 1?

Should be one if the 2 reservations are back to back.

I tried to do something similar at PH Toronto. 2 separate reservations but it was 7 consecutive nights. The Hyatt person on the phone said a DSU can only be applied to one reservation. I think in this case you will need to call several times to get the answer you want.

Call Hyatt and have them book the two reservations for you at the same time. It can be done as one reservation number.

I've had Hyatt help me merge two or more reservations into one on several occasions, and then applying a DSU to the entire length of the stay. Shouldn't be a problem.

Just applied a DSU for HR Kinabalu - it books into the Regency Exec Suite, not the lower category Regency Suite. Wiki has been updated to reflect this.

1. Park Hyatt Saigon in Ho Chin Minh Vietnam
2. Park Suite King https://saigon.park.hyatt.com/en/hotel/rooms/suite.html
3. 753 Sq Ft
4. 1 Bedroom

Regular room can only occupy two people. Used the DSU to upgrade to a suite and changed to 3 people staying under the same rate. A rollaway bed will be added.

Hyatt Regency Kinabalu

1. Hyatt Regency Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia
2. Regency Exec Suite (bigger but at lower levels) - more info just google.

5. Were you happy with the upgrade?
- The room was just ok. The building is old, the furniture quite dusty & the aircond vent is dirty. But everything works fine. Air conditioning works well & my room was cold when set to lowest temperature possible. My room faced the sea view. Hardware is nothing to shout about, was borderline poor in fact but the staffs are truly the saving grace for my 5 nights here. I'm sure gonna missed them, they treat me like a family or a very close friend...sharing company secrets & gossiping political issues...lol.

6. Any other info (location/view/relative price vs normal rooms/etc)
- Booked lowest standard room with my corporate rate which is dirt cheap (67 usd) and applied DSU. Their regular asking price was ridiculous, sometimes even more expensive than GH KL! Most of the frequent guests are from the major oil & gas company in Sabah apart from tourists. For the location it's very strategic at the center of the town, better sea view than Le Meridien, better breakfast spread & better evening spread at the lounge.

I'll be travelling with family and made separate booking for each room. I managed to applied 2 DSU on my room and my in laws.

Does the second room also entitled executive floor benefits that comes with the Suite room? Even when my in laws are not Diamond Members.

If you applied DSU's to both rooms, it sounds like both rooms are under your name (with Diamond status). Although not necessarily appropriate, it's likely all the keys will be coded with club access. I've had this happen on several occasions.

So long as you're paying the bill and both rooms are under your GP number, then yes. Have done this many times per year without a problem.

To add on to gunksny's post, from all that I have read on here and experienced once personally, most properties are generous enough to extend the benefits to (at least) an additional room, even though they are not required to:

From the HGP T&C:
Only the room occupied by the member will count toward tier status, current Hyatt Gold Passport promotions and receive program benefits and services.
