No such luck:

check in to Excalibur for one night on 6/20; nothing yet.

Called Diamond line today- they quickly passed me off to MGM. Transferred me to wrong hotel (love the 20 min wait to hear this news). Transferred again to excaliber desk and they have no idea what the issue is because the stay and my hyatt number are on file. Desk clerk verified my info, checked with manager, and finally stated that it should post within 30 days (2 days from now)

When I pointed out that other MGM-property stays had already posted, she seemed out of ideas and offered to call Hyatt (but wouldn't know what exactly to ask for)

Can't say the desk didn't try to help (they did much more than Hyatt did). I'm going to assume this is a delay with Excalibur (first and last time staying there but that's another story) and check back after the weekend.

Good times!

Stay Postings to GP when staying M Life/MGM

Hi All,
My gut says that postings of stays will be challenging especially early on until things get a bit more oiled
It can get tricky even with Hyatt Hotels sometimes so by all means hold on to your checkout portfolios/receipts or be ready for potential frustrating issues!
Be ready to fax Gold Passport if need be. Be sure that you all sign up for M life before staying to earn GP points!
Cheers

Stays at MGM properties don't count as Hyatt stays on the Hyatt Visa.

Only if Hyatt sells fax machines, I'd at least want 3x!

Thumbs up M Life/Gold Passort tie up/match Launching sooner rather than later

Greetings All,

I will take my first stay at one of the MGM group of properties next week
Have a discussion set up with MGM folks to help me understand the new M life program and share it with our forum.
Its my hope to shed lots of light on both my experience on property and the protocol going forward of everything M life.
In my early conversations I can say this is the most promising partnership ever in the history of Las Vegas and a major hotel company.

I'll have a review no later than next weekend or a day after
My only early disappointment in the partnership early on is the lack of room types and rate plans basic published rates only for standard rooms that Hyatt can book directly for us
One would be much better off booking online or directly through the hotel.

Cheers

Curious whether anyone has received Hyatt points using a Virtuoso rate (upgrade, breakfast, etc.). Since booked directly with the hotel by one's TA, would seem to meet the Ts and Cs.

M Life Status Match in full effect

Hi All,
I have a full report of my experience from two different properties
Aria Suites and MGM Signature that I will share in full detail including some luxury dining

Most important status matching in M Life is in full gear and may be
done before check in.Folks you'll want to do this first for so many reasons !
I'm not clear to what the expected August date was about for tier matching but Come on Down!
The partnership is in full bloom and the party atmosphere in full bloom
I have been absolutely delighted in most aspects of my stay
In particular the Aria Suites and Aria for the most part has some really great folks working in it

If there are any questions you would like answerd about M life
I'd be happy to take some questions and answer them while I have the folks here to ask
I'll close for now by saying this is without a doubt even with some of the early challenges the greatest partnership ever in the history of Las Vegas for frequent stay guests the dining choices alone make this
mind boggling

My sincere congratulations to the Hyatt and MGM folks
Kudos and well done even with the early snafus of communication and
I'll assume from others point posting issues
To be expected this early on
I say it's insignificant based on what's to come and the magnitude of this sensational new partnership that there will be much to enjoy and look forward too
Cheers
