100,000 Points for maintaining diamond?

100,000 Points for maintaining diamond?
Anyone else get this?
I get this email:
100,000 bonus points good for AT LEAST one night. I got a kick out of that. Anyways, I thought for sure it would take me to some CC offer so I clicked on the "redeem your offer" and got this:
This was actually the second time I clicked on this hence the "you're already registered". It says 8 to 10 weeks for these bonus points to show up, however 2 minutes later they are sitting in my account.
I will gladly take a free 100K points, but I have no idea how I was a target for this, i am never a target for anything like this.
My only thinking is, I hit 30 stays in Sept to keep Diamond for 2015 and then hadn't booked another night in a Hilton for the rest of 2014.

I got the100k, already posted in my account. Very nice. However, I did not get the part about double and triple points up until April. Perhaps this is because I have 14 nights in the Maldives already booked and I guess this would 'cost' them another 150k+ ?

Not eligible. Sort of an odd way to kick this whole thing off; arbitrarily picking winners and losers from amongst your highest tier of loyalty. Not likely to drive consumer behavior, since everyone will just be left guessing what behavior it is they're trying to drive...

Well considering I have no bonuses at all, even the double/triple points would be nice! It might arrive yet..............

I'm not eligible either, but I received automatic Diamond for the last several years, so I can't complain. I've reached Diamond level every year for the last 14 years so I'm more interested in Lifetime diamond status.
P.S. What does 100k Hhonors points get you nowadays, something like one night at a Hampton Inn, no?

I got the same offer as OP this morning. When I first saw it, I thought it was some trick, like it was linked to a credit card offer or something. But I clicked on it, and it said "100k points coming your way" plus the double triple thing through April. I was puzzled but certainly wont turn it down! Diamond for 4 or 5 years, 32 stays and 62 nights last year. 3 stays in January of this year
