A380 F seats, dining with companion

I feel I've read this somewhere but can't find it. In the A380 first cabin, is there an ottoman in your suite to allow for a traveler to dine/ socialize with you? I'll be traveling with my wife and currently I've got seats 2 E/F reserved so we are close and able to converse etc., but honestly I like having a window seat. Looking at the possibility of switching to window, if there is an ottoman.

Or really my question is geared towards, are there any other good options for those traveling together other than E and F seats. For instance, Would an A and E seat assignment allow for conversation? Or any other thought? Th

Thanks all!

No ottoman...unless we see something new in November!

If you want to see each other when travelling, then E/F is the best.

Thanks for the heads up. Are they planing a rollout of a new product in Nov?

Emirates is planning a new F product starting on their 777s. They're supposed to reveal it later this year. But as previously mentioned, the existing product has no place for face-to-face dining with a companion.

E/F is indeed best for couples. Nevertheless, there is thick partition (with bar) between you. So, you'll be able to see each other, but, you are not really seated close to each other. Anyway, better than window seats.

The seats are staggered so if you pick an A seat you won't see it you neighbors in the E seats.

As pointed out 2E and F is best.

What makes row 2 better than row 1 for the E and F seats?

I am flying in 2 weeks and 3E/F was already taken so I selected 1E/F so that there was an empty row

Not much really - bit less traffic/noise from the shower spas but I'd take row 2 then 1 then 3 in that order.

As m3red said, not much.

In 1E/F, you are facing the wall in front of you.
In 2E/F, you'll feel more space.

The stare of people coming out of the spa/bar can be disturbing in 1A/K. Not really in 1E/F.

And, empty/occupied row is not really an issue in F.

We have had 2E/F and booked them again for November. Before that we had 2K and 3K.
The E/F seats felt more spacious.

In fact, in E/F, your suite have less width, as A/K have extra storage between the bar and the window, .... except for 1A/K which don't have this storage because of the frame curvature at the front of the ship.

To be noted : 1A/K and 4A/K are missing a window.
On 4K, some condensation drops may fall on you during landing phase. (It
happened to me several times)

The seats themselves are all the same.
