I was booking a ticket from NRT to DXB on Febuary the 28th, and the EK website says it will be an A380.
Did they change the re-launch on the NRT route to an earlier date or is it a mistake?

I'd read about EK looking into a ZRH MEX fifth freedom last year. Funny that I can't find anything about that other than the initial post.

Third NBO flight cancelled even before start??
"The Kenyan government has moved to bar Emirates (EK, Dubai Int'l) from increasing the frequency of its Dubai Int'l-Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta flights Kenya's Star newspaper has reported.
The Dubai-based carrier announced on January 19 that effective June 1, it would introduce a third daily flight between Dubai and the Kenyan capital - EK 717/718 - using B777-300(ER) equipment. The added flight would increase the total number of scheduled Emirates flights between the two cities to twenty-one per week.
However, quoting a letter from Transport Principal Secretary Irungu Nyakera to Emirates' Nairobi executive secretary, Carolyne Kyule, dated January 20, 2017, the report says the suspension of the flight's rights came after informal talks between the Kenyan and UAE civil aviation regulators.
Kenya is said to be seeking a review of the terms of its Bilateral Air Service Agreement with the United Arabs Emirates, "in order to ensure parity in the exercise of rights granted".
"In this regard, the republic of Kenya is unable to grant a third daily passenger frequency to Emirates Airline before the review," it said. "Our earlier approval for flight EK 717/718 is subsequently withdrawn."
As of January 26, EK717 is still available on the Emirates website suggesting further consultations between the sides are ongoing.
According to the ch-aviation capacity module, the Nairobi-Dubai market is currently controlled by Emirates with 5,040 weekly seats (49.89%), almost double that of Kenya Airways (KQ, Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta) which has just 2,653. The addition of the third daily flight in June will further skew the market in Emirates' favour driving its weekly seating total to 6,480 or 62.33% of the total market. "

I think you have to look at it from the perspective of BKK traffic - whilst EK does manage to sell F quite well into BKK, you have to remember they have 6 daily flights there from DXB and one each from HKG and SYD.
From DXB alone that's upwards of 50 F seats daily.
Given what carriers globally say about F sales and BKK's image as a leisure destination rather corporate F demand (although there definitely is corporate F demand into BKK on EK!), I wouldn't read too much into it!

Irish media reports that an A380 will visit Dublin at the end of March, marking the fifth anniversary of EK service to DUB. It will be the first time an A380 has visited Dublin. Tweets from Emirates' Ireland country manager suggest that it will be A6-EUQ, making a stopover on its delivery flight from Airbus/Finkenwerder before heading to Dubai, operating as flight EK7380 on March 26. A time of 14:10 was given, though whether that is arrival at (as I suspect), or departure from, DUB is not known.
It's also not known if it will carry any paying passengers - the website certainly isn't currently selling seats - but it appears it is just a promotional visit.
As I understand it, there are no immediate plans to announce regular scheduled service of the A380 on DXB-DUB-DXB so no such announcement should be expected on the day.

Very unlikely an en route delivery of a new aircraft will be permitted to operate a scheduled commercial passenger service.
