We will see what happens. If they can considering to FLL. The runway may be too short. If they have enough the fuels. It won't have any issues. Whatever they want to put on 772LR or 77W aircraft.
once again, MIA makes the most sense....

Given that MAS is dropping CDG and AMS as a result of the partnership, leaving LHR as their only destination in Europe, I don't really see that the MAS partnership is bringing demand of the sort that would require EK to open new European destinations...

Good point - EK already have Lusaka and Harare ....... I would hope they also come up with Windhoek and Gaborone soon.
I can't see them coming up with Maun at any point until a new terminal building is constructed.
Perhaps, JRO - then again, Qatar already serves that route.

Pacific islands
Fiji, french Polynesia etc are difficult places to get to. Considering EK likes SEZ MRU MLE perhaps they would consider PPT. JRO would be great. WND also.
The Chinese have loaned Zimbabwe money to extend VFA to 4000m. Perhaps VFA eventually!!
Only dreaming...

What about DUR?
It is consistently 90%-100% full every time I've flown on that route but yet EK only sends old 77W's and mediocre crew.
J loads are usually full but I can see why they downgraded to a 2 class because I can't see how they'd fill F with DUR pax.
QR and TK also launched flights from DUR (via JNB) which aren't so popular due to the stop in JNB.
EK has really monopolised DUR and I'd like to see them improve a bit on the route. I think they know that DUR pax only choose them for convenience and the fact that they were the only airline flying internationally from a huge city.
