Never, ever felt pressured to tip, and have only done so twice.
Part of it is in DXB I'm never presented with anything to sign, so I never think about it, and then in out-stations I'm awful with LCY.

Another way to calculate the tip for a certain region is to see the cost of an average lunch . (I'm not talking about a 5 course dinner with wine!) .Around 200 INR should get you a decent lunch in India, 20-30 AED in DXB, Around £5-£10 in the UK ( excluding central London).

That would indicate tipping is the norm and an accepted part of the chauffeur service, which it certainly is not. The drivers I get are salaried employees of the firm and tips are not expected.
I realise this isn't a thread on tipping culture, just someone asking do you or don't you, but this post would indicate tipping is par for the course which it certainly is not.

Do you tip the chauffer driver?
I agree with last post. Tipping is not expected in most places and should only be done a an exception not the norm. Ie for excellent service. The car pick up is part of the service. Does one tip the check in person or the lounge attendant ?

Not in Mumbai unless you are in a group and are sharing. Probably the only place where you could manage that would be McDonalds. A medium sized Domino's pizza will set you back by around Rs. 350.

I actually agree with you here. Having said that, the drivers actually help out with a lot of other things apart from just driving you from point A to B. They help you with the luggage, push your trolley, provide you with helpful information, and at places where they are allowed inside the airport, help out with other stuff like VAT refunds and related procedures. That's not a part of their duty and what the tip is for.

Are you talking "black car" or "Town Car" service? If so, no. In my experience, the pricing accounts for tip and tolls.
That said, I have given tips at holiday time to encompass the year's service.
