Not really a prediction but in line of the upgauge to FRA, a third daily MUC is just around the corner. Should start early next year with flight numbers EK053/054. 3am departure from DXB with a morning turnaround in MUC.

The UAE, and Philippines last week have argeed to increase their weekly flights from 28 to 35. I wonder if EK will get the additional slots, or EY, or maybe they just might split them?

There seems to be a one-off extra flight each way DXB-GVA and GVA-DXB on Saturday 24 October (EK 3085 and 3086) in addition to the daily EK 89 and 90. Any idea why?

I probably would have guessed conference, or large family with entourage booking out a cabin or two, but I guess that qualifies as holiday with the kids

Only F and J availability (I mean the booking classes) most of the times to GVA - so its at least worth it for EK

I wonder how many EK extra flights it takes to make up for a loss making delayed flight the airline has to pay for hotel stays/hotel shuttle/food?

EK have a lot of extra flights every day.

LED will upgauge from A332 to B77W at the start of W15.
That means just DXB-LCA-MLA remains as the last route to Europe which is operated by an A332. All others with B777 or A380.
