DC Elite Closure

I've also joined the closed DC list. Similar experience, second month with card, $25k balance, no Target expenses. Closed 12/22 awaiting investigation by Risk Dept.

Closed and locked are two very different things.

Manufactured spending elsewhere?

If not, what is your credit limit and what is the typical credit limit you receive from other issuers?

Has anyone been closed? I know almost everyone is locked up but I don't think I've seen any closures yet.

CL is $40k which is typical. MS at grocery stores but also a lot of normal expenses. I got another card for my wife (additional fee of $150) and she used for all day to day expenses.

Account manager at Diners just told me that *all* the "new" cards are frozen and under review with no ETA on when it will be resolved. The agent did refund my annual fee in full with a little pushing.

Does anybody have a still-active new card?

Define "new". DC suspended apps after a pretty short amount of time so that could easily be the majority of cards that were issued.

New = since they re-opened applications

That's the time period I'm referring to. Their website doesn't indicate that they've actually reopened applications as of today.

Some Elite cards are still open

I have just spent $250 on lens cleanser, moisturizer, hand cream , mascara , chopstick etc. at riteaid.com. I have earned Happy You Year reward - 2 nights at a Hyatt in the process

My new DC premier card works at my local dry cleaner As someone who has used the lounge benefit 7 times, I consider myself lucky for biting the bullet and getting the card. I only use it at my dry cleaners, with rest of spending on Amex SPG, CSP & Freedom

Ms mia's Premier card is alive and well. I do not recall reading any report of a frozen Premier card, only the Elite version. Harris Bank may well be manually reviewing all of the Consumer card credit limits if the application algorithm was flawed, but it's clear that not "all" accounts are frozen.
